COMMUNICATION COMPONENTS FOR UNMANNED AERIAL/GROUND VEHICLES

  • UxV Data links (long or medium range, UxV and payload Command and Control, UxV real-time telemetry and payload data transmission)
  • Multimodal Surveillance Systems incorporating UxV’s
  • Fast-deployed interoperable network infrastructures incorporating UAVs communication systems.
  • Development of data links for cooperative networking supporting UxV’s swarms
  • Development of Autonomous flying robot for reconnaissance purpose and aiding in the forecasting and prevention of emergency situations (equipped with lightweight sensors)

DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING ARCHITECTURES AND WEB TECHNOLOGIES

  • Provision of secure cloud computing platform for critical infrastructures (airports, railways, public buildings, hospitals, large computer rooms, etc.)
  • Intelligent management over cloud infrastructure for user-centric multimedia services provisioning including surveillance systems
  • Mobile cloud development (dynamic cloud infrastructure management using context aware techniques)
  • Complex web based systems development including ADROID, IOS mobile applications
  • 3D representation from surveillance systems videos and images based on cloud computing processing

Research activities

The core personnel of the company has participated in more than 25 EU-funded Projects (FP6, FP7, H2020) in the domains of ICT, SECURITY, TRANSPORT, and SPACE. The vision of the company in the research field is to expand its expertise in ICT to other domains such as SECURITY, TRANSPORT, AGRICULTURE and ENERGY.
